Some enrolment tips…
 

  • For students aged 6 and above, we highly recommend at least two classes per week for best progression. For ages 9 and above, we recommend at least 3-4 weekly classes.

  • Students wishing to take ballet RAD Grade 2 and above must be enrolled for a minimum of two weekly ballet classes. Students at this level also take a weekly Conditioning (strength and flexibility class) free of charge. There is no minimum requirement for other students.

  • Ballet is the best foundation style and brings greater strength, polish and technical ability to all other styles of dance, so we strongly encourage the addition of a ballet class if learning Jazz, Contemporary or other styles.

  • It is easy to transition from ballet to other dance styles, but not so easy to transition back to ballet after a break (or a late start). It is generally not advisable to skip a grade in ballet, since the technique is taught very much progressively.

  • Many of our ballet students work towards their Royal Academy of Dance exams, a fun and exciting challenge which they love. This requires at least two weekly ballet classes. See more info on exams here.
